This project really tried me because i know NOTHING about basketball. Adidas was to launch a mini-doc about Anthony Edwards as told by his best friend, Nick Maddox, by doing an interactive trivia game show intro with the doc at the end. I was tasked with creating the holding screen for the livestream, the on screen game interface and text, and the prize reveal graphics.
I began with the fun part, making a simple model of the gym AE played at in high school where the two friends met and even matched the score board. Later I changed the scoreboard up to feel more aligned with the Adidas “Power of Three” brand guidelines sent to me. The holding screen was 10 minutes so I made the game time tick down to 0. Next came the on screen graphics, so I took cues from the actual AE1 shoes themselves and opted for a fun hex wipe on/off. Sticking to the “Power of Three” guidelines by splitting the shots into three and staggering their appearance.

Wake up babe- new sport just dropped! This time I had to create a similar waiting lobby for SOCCER. This one had no interactive elements so I was tasked to make a beautiful countdown people wouldn’t mind leaving up.
The countdown begins from 10 minutes but so you can see the changes in camera and time, I sped it up 10x!
